The Quantico Government Contractors Association (QGCA) was founded on February 27, 2008 in Stafford, Virginia by Mr. Patrick Regan, a distinguished Marine Corps Veteran with over 20 years of service.

QGCA’s mission as a nonprofit 501(c)6  is to facilitate teamwork between the Government and Government Contractors, direct focus onto the community, and promote local business.

QGCA has received overwhelming support from the local community, with significant interest from both Government and Industry.  Furthermore, QGCA is already actively engaged in serving and supporting the local community.  QGCA sponsored its first benefit to raise money in support of The Globe & Laurel—a restaurant that has been an icon in the community supporting our troops and local law enforcement for decades.  Due to expansion of a major highway, the Globe & Laurel was forced to relocate to Stafford, VA.  QGCA, along with other community leaders, quickly planned and sponsored a golf tournament and dinner, raising over $24,000.  These charitable events have helped to ensure the Globe & Laurel will continue to serve and support our honorable men and women serving at home and abroad.

QGCA is poised to make a difference in the greater Quantico area.  This opportunity rich area will continue to foster increased business prospects as the military services and federal civilian agencies expand further south and west of Washington DC.  Although the growth has been exponential, BRAC initiatives have “supercharged” the speed and intensity of new opportunities.  The QGCA looks forward to this growth and the opportunity to better serve the government and community.
